About Dr. Kurland
Licensed Psychologist PSY 28071
I am a licensed clinical psychologist located in Oakland, California. I have expertise in psycho-educational and psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, I specialize in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My style is warm and thoughtful, and grounded in the spirit of mutual respect.
In addition to seeing clients privately, I have served as the Assistant Training Director at the Wright Institute Assessment Services (WIAS) in Berkeley, CA. At WIAS, I provided clinical supervision and training support for graduate students learning clinical assessment. I have also taught clinical assessment to Master’s level students at the Wright Institute.
I am the mother of two young sons, and I enjoy being outside and exploring the beauty of the Bay Area with my family.
